Senior Carer

Eljo Services has been contracted by one of our prestigious clients, a 145 bedded Nursing Centre in the Heart of London, to supply them with 10 Senior Carers. The Client is looking for Indian Graduate Nurses with at least 1 year or more of post-qualification clinical experience. The ultimate aim of the Client is to train and support these Senior Carers to achieve UK PIN numbers so they can work as Nurses. 

This is a very attractive opportunity for those Nurses who are not able to achieve the required English language score to be a registered Nurse in the UK but do have the required English proficiency and ambition to be a registered nurse in the UK and make the Move. 

Ideal Candidate:

  • BSc Nurse with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience
  • Ability to speak good English and read and write well in English as required in a clinical environment.
  • Individuals with empathy and willingness to work with patients and residents at the end of their lives and require care and support.
  • Has the means to self-finance the move as the client will not bear the relocation expenses.
  • Available immediately (the process will take 1-2 months)


The rewards:

Work permit for 2 or 3 years with 48 hours/ week work contract

an annual salary of £25600.

Airport meet and greet and drop off to the Client site

1-month free food and accommodation on arrival

during the first 6 months the Client will provide training and support to the candidate to achieve UK NMC pin number and upon successful registration work as a Registered Nurse with the Client with best in the industry pay. 

The work permit allows you to take your partner and children under the age of 18 with you if you wish. The partner can work in the UK without any restrictions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Recruitment: Our client in the UK continuously requires Nurses and Health Care Assistants in the UK to supply to their UK Clients. Your job is to provide recruitment services remotely. So the job role is to find suitable candidates through a number of recruitment channels like a referral from existing workers, online and off-line advertising, CV-Search etc. in order to build a continuous and steady pipeline of potential staff. Recruitment in the UK is tough due to the lack of a suitable workforce and therefore, early birds will catch the worms. So you need to be smarter than the rest in order to ensure you get the staff required. You will conduct over the phone screening interviews and carry out the entire gamut of onboarding for Healthcare staff in the UK to work within the business unit allocated to you. You will be solely responsible for the entire process from finding the right candidates until they are fully compliant and ready to work and then hand them over to the business unit to be deployed by the shift management team. The job requires you to be fully focused and manage expectations as you will be expected to meet ambitious but possible recruitment targets. The job role also requires you to have an eye for details and strictly conform to recruitment standards as the healthcare industry in the UK is highly regulated and you will be expected to make sure every single person you recruit is fully compliant with regulatory requirements like the right to work in the UK, DBS, trainings, references and recent relevant experience. Scrutinizing documents and making sure everything is fit for purpose is a key part of the job.
